Pediatric Asthma & Allergy Updates for Primary Care Providers

 Asthma is the most common chronic illness of childhood, affecting almost 7 million children in the United States. Poorly controlled asthma limits activities, interferes with school attendance and can result, all too often, in emergency department visits and hospitalizations. Our challenge remains to provide safe and effective treatment of asthma and allergies. We developed this program to provide a forum to discuss current topics related to the diagnosis and management of pediatric asthma and allergy with primary care providers, who care for the majority of these children. A syllabus will be provided.
