2nd IFSO-MENAC 2022

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

First of all, we would like to thank you all very much for your continuous support and participation in IFSO MENAC’s activities throughout 2020 and 2021. Although we could not meet in person, we felt you close in spirit and in the online activities that we carried out in the last two years.

It’s been a very tough period for all of us. The pandemic has challenged our lives professionally and personally, and, although the vaccine has shown us the light at the end of the tunnel, the new variant Omicron has brought us back to a very critical situation all over the world.

For this reason, we are now forced to postpone the II IFSO MENAC Meeting, in conjunction with GOSS, PASMBS and SASMBS, to May 11-14, 2022, with the hope that all our members will be able to attend and that we can all get together again in the fascinating location of Al Khobar, in Saudi Arabia.

This was not an easy decision, because we were all looking forward to meeting each other again in person, after two long and difficult years.

But our priority is the safety of our members.

All we can do now is to stay safe and wait for the storm to pass, hopefully soon.

We know we are asking you for some more patience, but it’s in the interest of all of us to offer you a safer and enjoyable congress. It will be worth the wait!
