Fighting Back Against Infectious Diseases

Despite great strides forward, infectious diseases remain a leading cause of mortality, particularly in young children and adolescents. Increasing rates of global travel increase the opportunity for rapid disease spread across continents. This cross-disciplinary meeting will bring together those researching strategies to understand and limit disease transmission and to improve treatment for both emerging and established infectious diseases, for both human and veterinary applications.
